The club would like to share the details below from Rob Churcher and his sister Laura about the funeral of their dad, the great Steve Churcher.
Steve who died last week was a former chairman and life president of Tonbridge Angels but that does not begin to describe the immense contribution he made to the club.
“It is with great sadness that we announce the funeral of our beloved Dad, which will take place on Thursday, 1 October 2026, at 11:00am at the Baptist Church, Darenth Avenue, Tonbridge, TN10 3HZ.
“Following the service, the wake will be held at Tonbridge Angels Football Club, where we will come together to celebrate Dad’s life, share memories and remember him with love.
“Everyone who knew and loved Dad is warmly welcome to join us as we say our final farewell.
“For those who may not wish to attend the church service but would still like the opportunity to pay their respects, Dad will be passing Tonbridge Angels Football Club at approximately 10:15am.
“We would be truly grateful for your presence, love and support as we come together to honour Dad and celebrate the life he lived.
“Forever loved, never forgotten.”
