Angels boss Alan Dunne says the FA Cup draw which pits his side against National South big-hitters Torquay United is an exciting one.
Angels will entertain The Gulls at The Yeomans Community Stadium, Longmead on Saturday 3 October in the Emirates FA Cup Third Qualifying round. It will be the third time the Devonians have visited us since last April.
Dunne said: “You always want a home draw so that’s good. We know all about Torquay of course having played them at home on the last game of last season and the first home game of this season so it’s become a bit of a familiar fixture of late.
“It’s always great to play Torquay though who are a fantastic club, run by good people, who always bring an excellent following when they visit us. So we look forward to welcoming them on the 3 October for what I’m sure will be another entertaining game.
“The FA Cup is always exciting and this is an exciting draw and we will be looking to progress into the next round and get as far in the competition as we can.
“It’s a difficult fixture of course but one we’re really looking forward to and I hope we can get another big crowd in on the day.”
Ticket details for this fixture will be announced in due course.
