Tonbridge Angels are pleased to welcome back to the Yeomans Community Stadium, Ansu Janneh, who has signed after recently leaving today’s opponents Slough Town and is available for selection this afternoon.
Ansu, a 27 year-old midfielder, was signed by Jay Saunders in October 2023 from Havant and Waterlooville and made 10 appearances before joining Hastings United on loan. He has had spells at Billericay, Lewes and Carshalton Athletic before joining Slough in November.
After spending his early senior career at Staines Town, Lancing and Walton Casuals, he earned a contract at Dagenham and Redbridge in March 2022 after impressing during a trial spell. Towards the end of season 2022/23 he had a loan spell at Braintree Town before joining Havant.
Manager Alan Dunne said of his signing: “Ansu has impressed in training over the past couple of weeks and we are pleased to have him with us.”
