Changing the game on and off the pitch
This International Women’s Day, Tonbridge Angels is proud to celebrate the women who shape our club, from the boardroom to on and off pitch.
With one of the only female Chairs in football, we are committed to championing representation and leadership at the highest level of the game. Sophies leadership continues to inspire positive changes throughout our club and the wider community, we thank her for everything she does.

We are equally proud of our women’s team, whose talent, dedication and passion embody everything Tonbridge Angels stands for. They continue to be successful in the league and are very close to getting their hands on silverware for the second time in cup competitions. We would love to see our fans support the ladies on their road to possibly winning the league and silverware!

Our women’s walking football team continue to attract players and are a staple in the local community. We are hoping that the continued popularity of the sport allows for a Women’s walking football league to be established.

We celebrate Shaz Williams, our incredible Hospitality & Events Manager, whose dedication, leadership, and tireless work behind the scenes keeps the club running smoothly. Without her and her amazing teams we simply wouldn’t be able to deliver the match day experience for all of our fans!

We also recognise and celebrate the women volunteers and passionate fans around our football club. Your dedication, energy and support play a big part in keeping everything going on and off the pitch.

Football is for everyone and we’re proud to play our part in building a more inclusive future. We would love for more women to get involved with TAFC, whether its coming along to watch a game, volunteering your time, or putting on the shirt and playing for us!
Join us in celebrating the women of Tonbridge Angels and within the football community this International Women’s Day.
