Due to the success of our last event, Tonbridge Angels v Bath City on Saturday 21 March will be School Partner Day.
Our first free ticketing initiative was for our match against AFC Totton in January which saw an additional 700 local parents and children attending the game and they witnessed a fine 4-1 victory for the Angels. The attendance figure for the match was 1,656 – the highest in Kent that day.
Tonbridge Angels Chair, Sophie Purves said: “Our first School Partner Day was a great success and we were delighted to have so many new supporters at the Yeomans Community Stadium. It was really heart warming to see the young children so excited about the game and cheering on the team from start to finish. We hope our friendly, welcoming environment and the entertaining football on display will encourage local families to visit us again. There is no doubt the atmosphere was very special and lifted everyone’s spirits in January.”
If you are a local primary school interested in receiving free parent and child tickets for this match, please email Dom.welsh@tonbridgeangels.co.uk
Come along and enjoy some live football at our friendly and welcoming Yeomans Community Stadium!
