Bunmi Babajide is the latest Angel to put pen to paper and sign up for season 2026/27.
It’s reward for a stunning improvement in form, some match winning displays and a decent return of goals.
Babajide arrived in the close season and struggled to find any real consistency in the early games but never let his head drop.
Under Alan Dunne he has flourished, often displaying silky skills and creating problems for opposition defences, being deceptively difficult to dispossess.
At the time of writing he is Angels joint top scorer with ten goals, including eye catching efforts at Bath City in November and a fine late winner at Slough Town in January.
Bunmi said: “I’ve really enjoyed my football this season at Angels and I’m delighted to sign for another season”
Alan Dunne added: “I’m delighted to have Bunmi with us for next year. I’ve seen him improve so much in my time here and it’s been great to watch him grow and develop both as a player and a person. He really has come on in bundles and I think there is even more to come from him. He’s scored goals, created plenty too and has proved a real asset for the club.”
