Popular left-back Bailey Akehurst has agreed terms and committed himself to Angels for season 26/27.
The former Gillingham man has impressed the coaching staff with his application and was one of the stand-out players of the last couple of months.
Akehurst had to patiently wait his turn while the left back berth was filled by Noah McCann but when the latter returned to his parent club QPR, Akehurst was ready to slot straight in.
He said: “I’m really chuffed to sign on for another year and can’t wait for next season.”
Tonbridge Angels manager Alan Dunne said: “I’m delighted to have secured Bailey’s signature for next season. He’s still young and has great potential to develop more. We all know about his excellent left foot and his dead ball ability. Since I’ve come in, I’ve seen him really fight to secure his place in the team and he was a big part of our success at the back end of the season.”
