Wycombe loanee returns
As confirmed by Craig Nelson during his post-match interview on Saturday, Tonbridge Angels are delighted to welcome Brody Peart back to the Halcyon Wealth Longmead Stadium on a loan that will take him through to January.
Brody arrived, alongside his Wycombe Wanderers team-mate Christie Ward, in February and made his debut as a 60th minute substitute against Worthing. Brody was forced to return to his parent club through injury during his loan spell, but returned towards the back end of the season and ultimately made 11 appearances.
Brody signed for the Chairboys during the summer of 2024 having finished his time at the Brighton and Hove Albion Academy. He had spent time that season at Basingstoke Town, where he also had a spell whilst on loan from Brighton, scoring eight times in 20 appearances, in a Southern League South Central championship winning side.
Craig Nelson said of Brody: “We’re really pleased to welcome Brody back to the club. He’s a player with real pace, power and a willingness to stretch the game. He’s versatile in the forward areas and brings that energy we’re always looking to add to the group. Seems a great lad through our conversations throughout the summer and he loved his time at the club last year. This is a great opportunity for him to get regular senior football and for us to benefit from the qualities he brings. We’re looking forward to working with him and helping him continue his development.¬†
“Big thank you to Wycombe and Sam Grace for enabling this deal and for trusting us with Brody’s development whilst at the club.”
Welcome back Brody!
