Chatham Town Preview

Tonbridge Angels travel to The Bauvill Stadium looking to reverse the outcome when the two clubs faced each other in the FA Cup earlier this season. Alan Dunne’s men know a place in the final against local rivals Maidstone United is up for grabs.

Squad News: Dunne will be hoping he has a fully fit squad to choose from but there will be doubts about captain Scott Wagstaff after the midfielder went off injured during Saturday’s win over Bath City.

Recent Form: Chatham Town sit top of the form guide in the Isthmian Premier Division with five wins and a draw from their last six games and beat Burgess Hill Town 3-0 on Saturday with goals from Junior Dixon (two) and Sam Sene-Richardson.

Last Meeting: The two clubs faced each other in October at the Yeomans Community Stadium, Longmead in the FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round. Despite the Angels taking the lead through Marcus Sablier’s first half strike, The Chats fought back and three second-half goals saw them progress to the first round proper of the competition.

Man to watch:
Reece Butler: The Chatham Town captain. The defender has been at the club since he was 17 and has racked up over 330 appearances for The Chats. Butler was formidable in the match between the clubs earlier in the season and will be the man that Angels strike-force will need to get past.
