Chippenham Town Preview

Saturday sees Tonbridge Angels remember Devonte Aransibia on what is being termed “Devonte Day” and we ask supporters to wear a touch of green to remember ‘Dev.’ A bumper crowd is expected as the Angels look to bounce back from consecutive 90+ minute defeats.

Squad News: Alan Dunne has some tough decisions to make as his squad gets fitter and starts to become injury-free as we enter a key period of the season.

Recent Form:  Chippenham Town experienced how the Angels have felt recently when Dominic Revan’s 92nd minute winner secured Salisbury all three points on Tuesday night in the Wiltshire Derby.

Last Meeting: The Angels travelled to Wiltshire on a wet day (when is it not) back in November and returned empty-handed after Anointed Chukwu’s second half goal led The Bluebirds to victory. Bunmi Babajide had a second half penalty saved by Will Henry. Watch the highlights here

Men to watch:
Will Henry: An ever-present for The Bluebirds for the past five years. A reliable shot stopper who has made nearly 200 appearances for the club and saved Babajide’s penalty in the corresponding fixture.
Tom Mehew: A classy holding midfielder who helps orchestrate the Chippenham team with his intricate passing and ability to seek out danger.
