Ian Clear, the director responsible for operational matters at Tonbridge Angels, has decided to step down from the board.
Ian said: “After a particularly busy season, I’ve decided to stand down as a director of Tonbridge Angels FC. I’ve witnessed tremendous change at the club during my six-and-a-half years on the board and I hope I’ve made a positive contribution in improving and modernising the club’
“I wish Sophie and the board all the best for the future.
“I’m looking forward to the coming season, as the transformation under Dunney continues, and I’ll be supporting the team home and away with the Angels’ supporters.”
Tonbridge Angels Chair Sophie Purves said: “On behalf of the football club, I would like to thank Ian for the many hours of hard work and dedication he has given to Tonbridge Angels over the years. Ian has made a valuable contribution to the growth and improvement of the club and he should be proud of his achievements. We wish Ian a more restful time supporting the club from the terraces.”
The club is delighted to confirm Ian has accepted the honorary position of club vice president in recognition of his service to Tonbridge Angels.
