Dover Preview

Alan Dunne takes his Angels side to the Kent Coast hoping to complete their third double of the season following recent wins over Hampton & Richmond and Worthing.

Squad News: Kyle Smith must be considered a doubt for the game after going off injured in Saturday’s win over Worthing. Other than that, it appears Angels have a fully fit squad to choose from.

Recent Form:  Dover lost 2-1 against Hampton & Richmond Borough on Saturday with Luke Baptiste scoring their goal. Their last home game saw them beat Hornchurch 4-1 with four different scorers.

Last Meeting: Two second half goals from Scott Wagstaff and Brody Peart led Angels to a 2-1 victory back in October to cancel out Jalen Jones’ opener and secure Alan Dunne his first league home victory in charge. Watch the highlights here from that game

Men to watch:

There are a number of former Angels in the Dover squad who will be looking to secure three points over their former side; Bivesh Gurung, Ryan Hanson and Ruben Soares-Junior.

Perhaps the man to watch is George Nikaj, the Whites top scorer in the league this year with 10 goals to go with his 24 goals last year in the Isthmian Premier as Dover secured promotion back to the NLS.
