Angels manager Alan Dunne says he is ‘extremely proud and honoured’ to be inducted into The Forever Lions Club (FLC).
The FLC honours the legacies of former Millwall players and Lionesses.
It celebrates those who have proudly represented Millwall across generations, both on and off the pitch.
Dunney made 388 appearances for The Lions, scoring 23 goals, captaining the club and being granted a Testimonial in 2011.
Launched in 2025, the FLC coincided with two major milestones: 140 years of Millwall Football Club and 40 years of Millwall Community Trust.
Dunney was inducted at last night’s match at The New Den against Birmingham City alongside fellow defender Tony Craig, striker Teddy Sheringham and former Lioness Pauline Cope.
Each inductee will receive a certificate and an embroidered tie/neckscarf to celebrate their award.

Dunney joins a growing list of Lions in the club including Bryan King, Les Briley and Tony Cascarino.
He said: “I’m extremely proud to be inducted into the Forever Lions Club. I’m honoured that Millwall, a club where I made so many appearances, was captain and granted a Testimonial should welcome me into the Forever Lions Club alongside so many illustrious names. I’m delighted to receive this recognition from a special club which is very close to my heart.”
Well done Dunney and congratulations from everyone at Tonbridge Angels.
