Hardworking midfielder added to squad
Tonbridge Angels are pleased to welcome Alfie Allen, a 22-year-old defensive midfielder from Lewes.
Alfie graduated from Millwall’s Academy before being released in 2023 to join Isthmian League Premier Dulwich Hamlet where he made 16 appearances.
Craig Nelson brought him to Lewes last season and his consistent performances brought a total of 35 appearances. He was utilised mainly as a deep-lying midfielder.
Craig welcomed Alfie commenting: “Alfie’s an honest, hardworking player who gives everything every time he steps on the pitch. He’s got great technical quality too, and that mix of graft and guile is exactly what we need in midfield.”
Alfie added: “I’m excited for this next step with Tonbridge Angels and grateful to Craig for believing in me. I can’t wait to get on the pitch and help the team in any way I can.”
