Lions striker signs in

Tonbridge Angels are delighted to welcome Frankie Baker, a 20 year-old striker, on an initial one month loan from Millwall to the Yeomans Community Stadium.

Frankie has been at the Den since he was nine years old, having been scouted while playing Sunday football. He was given a place in the Under-10’s and has since progressed through the age group before being offered an Academy place as a 16 year-old.

He was member of a highly successful Lions Under-18 side that reached the FA Youth Cup semi-final in 2024 scoring plenty of goals in his two years at that level.

Alan Dunne said of his new signing: “I’ve watched Frankie at Millwall Under 21 games several times. He is a hungry talented hardworking forward who gives his all and we are delighted to have him with us.”

We are also pleased to confirm that Ethan Sutcliffe’s loan from AFC Wimbledon has been extended through to the end of the season. Ethan has been ever-present since returning for his third loan spell with us and has further enhanced his reputation during this time.

We thank both Millwall and AFC Wimbledon for facilitating these loans.
