U18 Trials for next season

U18 trials

Your chance to join the Champions!

Tonbridge Angels Under-18’s will be holding trials for next season on Monday, 12th May from 7.00pm until 8.30pm at Longmead Stadium.

The trials are open to current school year 10, 11 and 12 with a date of birth qualification of post-1st September 2007.

It is necessary to pre-register and this can be done via email dom.welsh@tonbridgeangels.co.uk or call on 07587238635.

Tonbridge Angels Under-18’s play in the Isthmian Youth League, and this season became the champions of the East Division, with home games on Longmead Stadium’s FIFA Pro 3G surface on Monday evenings. Opposition comes in the shape of fellow National Conference South clubs Welling United and Maidstone United and strong Isthmian League teams such as Chatham Town and Sheppey United.

What can we offer you or your son?

Alongside Isthmian Youth League football there is entry to the FA Youth Cup, Kent County Cup and the Isthmian League Cup.

Training is twice a week with UEFA qualified coaches at the helm. Veo footage is available for all games and twice per season a player report would be received from the management team.

Tonbridge Angels have a proven record of providing a pathway into senior football. This season, Nayan Grant has earned a scholarship at Gillingham whilst our skipper, Adam Larkin, has been a regular senior team member at Crowborough Athletic. Tolu Fabimafobee and Josh Hanson have featured on the substitute’s bench for the Angels senior team.

Our Under-18 players are regularly asked to train alongside the first team squad in their training sessions and no less than 11 of our squad have had this opportunity this season.

Should university be the ultimate goal, then we are proud that three of our players have recently taken scholarships in the United States.

We are also proud that our management team promotes a close-knit group that fosters friendships that endure beyond the pitch, hopefully for many years to come.

Take a note of the dates and give the trials a chance, it is a great opportunity.
