Youth Awards

Reflecting on an outstanding season for Tonbridge Angels Youth.

The Angels youth programme brought its 2025/26 campaign to a close in style this week, as players, coaches, and families gathered to mark a season defined by success, development, and community spirit. The awards evening took place on 8 May in the Meadow Tree Marquee and underscored the collective commitment that continues to drive the club’s thriving youth setup.

The Under 18s delivered an exceptional campaign. They recorded 22 wins and three draws from 31 matches, scoring an impressive 99 goals along the way. Their achievements included being crowned Isthmian Youth League East Division champions, reaching the Kent Intermediate Cup final, and progressing to the first round proper of the FA Youth Cup, a notable milestone at youth level.

The Under 15s also enjoyed a landmark season, completing a league and cup double. They secured the Kent Youth League South title before lifting the Kent Youth League Cup with a hard fought victory over Ebbsfleet United F.C. in the final on 7 May.

While team success took centre stage, individual achievements were also recognised. Awards for commitment, improvement, leadership, and performance reflected the breadth of talent and dedication across the age groups.

Coaches were keen to stress that development extends beyond results. Emphasis was placed on attitude, character, and a willingness to improve, qualities seen as essential to long-term progress both on and off the pitch.

With another successful season concluded, optimism remains high for the future. The performances of this year’s youth teams have reinforced confidence that the next generation of players will continue to strengthen the club’s foundations.

Congratulations to all players, coaches, families, and volunteers on a fantastic 2025/26 season.
