With apologies to Paul McCartney and his great ballad off Revolver there really is something for all beer drinkers at Angelfest which is now just over a week away.
The cask ale list has been selected by Keith Ennis and Andy Matthews, both Angels season tickets holders and volunteers at the ground.
Here they supply us with an overview of what’s on offer:

“As many will know, Tonbridge Brewery supply Tonbridge Angels Kentish Ale which is normally available on match days. The Brewery, which is based in East Peckham, also sponsors the Angels. In recognition of this we thought we would showcase the range of Tonbridge Brewery cask ales they had available.
“You will find ten of their beers at AngelFest ranging from 3.8% to 5% in strength across a variety of styles which should cater for most tastes. There are three different strength bitters all brewed using English hops, pale ales and blondes of varying strength brewed using different types of hops. There is also a cask conditioned lager brewed in the Kolsch style.

“The second brewery we are using is Kent Brewery from not too far away Birling. They are a very hop forward brewery which likes to showcase different types of hops. Their beers are mainly pale ales and include a very tasty English Pale Ale brewed specifically for the World Cup called Sweet Caroline. For dark beer lovers there is an Extra Stout.
“The final brewery is a nano brewery from Shoreham in Kent. They brew beers in small batches, and they can normally be found at the Samuel Palmer in Shoreham. We have two beers from them, a hazy session pale brewed with corn, sea salt and lime (which went down well at last years Festival) and a stronger hazy pale brewed using Australian hops.”
Thanks to Keith and Andy for this. Look out for some more detailed tasting notes of each individual beer coming soon.
There will also be a token system in place with full details of how this works to follow.
