The club is delighted to welcome box-to-box midfielder Hayden Bullas on a season-long loan.
The 20-year-old arrives from League One Bromley where he recently arrived on a free transfer from Leyton Orient. He has pledged to give everything he can muster to drive Angels forward this season.
Bullas came through the ranks at Ebbsfleet United and then The O’s from where his appetite to play regular men’s first team football saw him go out on loans to Erith Town, Dartford and then Enfield Town before his move to Bromley this summer.
And now, for this season at least, Dartford-born Bullas is an Angel and he is raring to go:
“I’m absolutely delighted to be here,” he said. “It’s a great club and it’s going to be a privilege to put the shirt on. I’m going to give everything I can for the club and the fans.
“I nearly came before on a permanent move so I got to know Dunney then and as soon as the opportunity arose to come here on a loan, I knew I wanted it.
Asked to describe himself, Bullas replied: “I’m a box-to-box midfielder with a never-say-die attitude. I’m always working hard, I like to get on the ball, tidy things up where I can and hopefully get in the right areas to create assists and goals as well.
“I came to Tonbridge last season and I thought the fans were so loud, even a bit intimidating and when the fans are loud like that, you want to pay them back by getting good results. I think the minimum target for this club has to be the play-offs. I think the club deserves to be in the national league for sure.
“Fans can expect 100 per cent from me at all times and I’m going to do everything I can for the badge. Whether it’s blood or sweat or tears, I’m going to leave everything on that pitch and come off it, not being able to give any more.”
Angels boss Alan Dunne said of his latest acquisition: “Hayden is a player I’ve been monitoring for around a year. I wanted to sign him permanently but was beaten to his signature by Bromley this summer. But then it was agreed that the best way to continue his development was for Bromley to loan him out to us for a season so it’s all worked out really well.
“I’d like to thank Bromley for their trust and support. The strong relationship between our clubs is incredibly important, and we’re committed to providing players like Hayden with the best possible environment to develop and fulfil their potential.
“He’s an exciting young player, a box-to-box midfielder. I think he’s got a big future in the game and I’m looking forward to seeing him in an Angels shirt.”
