Here’s your alphabetical guide to the best music and beer festival in West Kent which kicks off next Friday night (26 June) doors opening at 6pm, continues on Saturday 27 June (noon to 1am, finishing after the England v Panama game beamed live on the big screen) and ends on Sunday June 28 (noon to midnight).
A = Where else to start but ANGELFEST itself. It needs no introduction. It’s brilliant. A is also for ALE of course but also about ACTS of which there are 18 including great covers band ABOUT A GIRL performing on the Saturday.
B is for beer of course of which there will be something for everyone but also, adding a bit of spice and lemongrass, will be BALMS STREET FOOD, specialists in Thai cuisine.
C is for the great CEIRON COLE/FAUX (below), a singer with over 20 years experience, performing on the Sunday.

D is for top covers band DUVET DOGS, (below) who are headlining on Friday.


And also for DJ HILFIGER (above, Saturday) while DATZ DONUTS will be selling their delicious wares throughout. And we mustn’t forget the excellent THE DISRUPTERS (below) who open proceedings on the Friday.

E is for ENGLAND – the England v Panama World Cup group match will be shown live in the marquee garden on a big screen on Saturday night, kick off 10pm. Come on England!
F is for FREE. Did we mention Angelfest is Free? There is no admission fee to Angelfest. And of course, let’s not forget F is also for Fries and the best chips on the circuit from FRIES LIKE AN ANGEL.
G is for GOING POSTAL (below) playing on Saturday.

H is for the wonderful HALF PINT OF TRIBUTE sponsors of the event and H is also for HELL DRIVERS (below) who will be turning up the heat on Sunday.

I is for INCREDIBLE because this line up of acts and available beers is……incredible!
J is for JETTY (below) who are opening proceedings on the Sunday.

K is for KENT BREWERY who are supplying many of the real ales on offer.
K is also for KEITH ENNIS. Season ticket holder and volunteer who has masterminded the beer on offer
L is for LAGER. While this is predominantly a beer festival, we’ve got lager drinkers covered too (plus ciders, wines and spirits)
M is for MEADOW TREE MARQUEE. Our brand new Marquee (below) which is winning admirers from many, plays host to Angelfest. (It will look a bit different at Angelfest, like a proper rock venue!)

N is for NEW because we’ve got some new bands and a few new brews to enjoy alongside all the old favourites.
O is for OLIVER PATTERSON who plays on the Saturday.
P is for PETER TROTT who plays late on the Sunday.

Q is for QUIET…..Well it won’t be that quiet while Angelfest is on but please respect our neighbours by leaving quietly when the festivities are over.
R is for ROCK PHOENIX (below) who will be doing what they do best on Saturday night while RYAN WEEKS (second below) will be appearing on Sunday.


S is for the amazing SARAH MARTIN (below) who appears on the Friday while STRENUOUS do their stuff on the Sunday.

T is for TONBRIDGE BREWERY. Proud club sponsors. The East Peckham-based brewery is supplying some top beers to suit all palates.

U is for the brilliant UPSETTERS who will be headlining on Sunday night.

V is for VICKY HARDCASTLE who opens proceedings on the Saturday.
W is for WASTED – the headline act on the Saturday night and – calling all Mods – THE WHO WE ARE promise fireworks on the Sunday with their superb Who tribute act.

X is for No X-RATING here. This is a family friendly event for everyone.
Y is for YES as in the answer to the question – Will I have a good time?
Z is for. ZZZZs. You will have such a great time that you will need plenty of ZZZZZs at the end.
